An Exercise Workout for Weight Loss
It is important in this day and age to have some form of exercise workout to keep yourself fit and active. If you look at most of the western world we are growing in size due to our poor diet and because of the gadgets and gizmos created to make our lives easier.
For those who are serious about getting in to shape and shedding the extra weight they carry it can be a daunting task. Many people are put off by the prospect of visiting a gym or fitness centers let alone stepping foot inside one because they believe everyone will be looking at them and how unfit they are, nothing could be further from the truth.
If you are serious about losing weight and getting fit then it is not just important to get training in the gym, it is important to make sure you have the right exercise workout to help you achieve your goal.
To achieve maximum results in losing weight then the following exercise workout should be considered.
Day one – five minutes gentle cycling on an exercise bike to warm up followed by 20 minutes jogging on a treadmill and 20 minutes using a stepper or rowing machine or any other cardio exercise machine.
Day two – five minutes gentle cycling, 20 minutes jogging on a treadmill and 20 minutes weight training where you lift light weights in sets of 25 repetitions.
Day three – five minutes gentle cycling, 20 minutes jogging on a treadmill and 20 minutes ab workout exercise (You can use an exercise ball or a simple ab crunch exercise for your workout)
As you can see this exercise workout only equates to three days a week at forty five minutes each time yet gives you everything you need to start shedding those kilograms. Once you feel that your body has started to get used to the fitness workout program you can increase the amount of days per week to four and repeat one of the workouts, you can also increase the time of each workout by spending longer on each section.
If you use this exercise workout and change your diet to eat more healthy foods then you can expect to see great results within the first four to six weeks. For some this may seem like a long wait to see a difference but in reality losing weight at a slower rate will mean that the weight doesn’t come straight back on.
A hot tip for training
When you are exercising you do not have to be running at the pace of a leopard to make a huge difference. In fact if you are wishing to lose weight then you are better off exercising at a slower pace in what is known as the fat burning zone. If you exercise at a modest rate keeping your heart rate between sixty eight and seventy nine percent of your maximum heart rate (220 minus your age), then you will be burning more fat then at any other period during training.
As with any exercise workout whether it is at home through a workout exercise video or in fitness centers it is important to visit your doctor first to make sure you are fit and healthy before starting your fitness workout program. If you do not seek your Doctors advice then you could cause yourself an injury or exaggerate an underlying medical issue. It is also important to ensure that you have full knowledge on how to use fitness equipment before attempting to utilize them in your fitness workout program.
